Manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) is a very special type of massage designed to stimulate the lymphatic system . The hand movements and sequences are adapted for each person. It must be carried out by a qualified practitioner. It is a gentle, flowing, rhythmic massage and can be applied to a wide range of physical conditions to great effect. It is particularly useful for the treatment of lymphoedema and swelling that is often seen in response to cancer treatments such as radiotherapy. Can be used to prevent or treat lymphoedema and improve lymph drainage.

Cancelation Policy

Cancellations Our Flexible Salon Policy At Sophiem Beauty and Massage, we do our best to make sure all your needs are taken care of. If you have to cancel or change your appointment , just let us know. If you inform us less than 24 hours before your scheduled time, we have to charge an administration fee 20% and cannot guarantee we'll be able to slot you in. Less than 24 hours cancellations fee - 50% of the treatment's cost will be charged. ‘No show’ fee - full amount of the appointment's cost will be charged. Want to find out more?
